Many choose this option for their rafting adventure on the Snake River because they are new to whitewater rafting or are traveling with small children. However, this stretch of whitewater offers fun for all ages and experience levels! This trip features our standard size raft, which is a self-bailing, 18’ raft. These boats seat up to 16 people and are a more stable than the smaller boat options. There are non-paddling and paddling positions in this raft.

Your experienced guide will share history of the area and information about the local flora and fauna. The Snake River Canyon is rich in geological history and your guide will share features which make this canyon unique. All whitewater trips launch from West Table Boat Ramp in the Snake River Canyon and make their way south toward Alpine, WY. Trips take out at Sheep Gulch Boat Ramp and guests travel 8 river miles from start to finish. There are about 8 sets of rapids, ranging from class I to III.

Rapids include: Station Creek, Double Draw, Blind Canyon, Big Kahuna, Lunchcounter, Ropes, Champagne, and Cottonwoods.
