People often get confused about Jackson vs. Jackson Hole. To clarify, Jackson Hole includes the entire valley: Teton Village, the town of Jackson, Wilson, Moran Junction, Moose, the Aspens, and surrounding areas. ‘Jackson’ or “Downtown Jackson” refers to the main town located at the southern end of Jackson Hole.

For the money-conscious:

The Hostel

This is a great option in summer or winter. For the avid skier who wants to be close to the mountain and on a budget, this is your spot. To quote the NY Times-- “the Hostel is arguably the best location in Teton Village

They offer free wifi, Serta mattresses, and complimentary coffee service in the mornings.

The Cache House

Similar to the Village hostel, the Cache House offers shared accommodations in a super convenient part of town. In the winter months, the Start public bus runs all day from Jackson to Teton Village, and in the summer months, Jackson Town is always bustling. This boutique hotel is owned by the same folks of Cache House and is their second location in Jackson town. The rooms are cozy and give off a very Ace Hotel vibe. Enjoy staying in the heart of downtown Jackson and do try their restaurant Glorietta’s Trattoria: arguably one of the best spots for drink and food in town.

Four Seasons
Teton Village, Wy
$$$$$

While it’s a splurge, the five-star alpine resort Four Seasons Jackson Hole is the epitome of a ski-in / ski-out stay. The hotel features two restaurants, a lobby lounge, in-room dining, a spa, a pool, a hot tub, a fitness room, and a ski valet (amongst many other concierge services).

During the high seasons, they require a 5-night minimum stay, but we have a feeling you won’t regret it if you're here for more than a few days.

The Cloudveil
Jackson, Wy
$$$$$

The Cloudveil is the stylish new kid on the block, a part of the Marriott collection. This downtown gem made its debut in the Summer of 2021, and it did not disappoint. The property is ultra-modern and sleek while still staying true to the rustic mountain roots of Jackson Hole. The Cloudveil features an on-property bar and restaurant, The Bistro, that is open for all three meals, brand new rooms, a pool, hot tub, fitness room (with Peloton bikes), and so much more.
